The old identity
The conclusions that once felt fixed: who you are, what your body means, what always happens, and what change is available to you.
A whole-person practice for an inner life that can hold the outer change.
Meet Spiritual FitnessLived change
Lisa's visible change belongs to a longer story of recovery, health challenges, identity, faith, imagination, and learning to live from a different understanding of herself.
The photographs are real. So is the context.
Lisa has spoken publicly about addiction and recovery, serious health challenges, a near-death experience, significant weight change, and a spiritual awakening. She connects the change in her body with a change in identity: what she assumed about herself, what she rehearsed internally, and what she became willing to live.
Spiritual Fitness grew from that lived connection between inner state and daily practice. It is why Lisa talks about the body without reducing a person to a number, a diet, or an image.
What the image cannot show
The photograph documents visible change. Lisa's work stays with the identity, assumptions, and repeated choices underneath it.
The conclusions that once felt fixed: who you are, what your body means, what always happens, and what change is available to you.
Learning to notice the old story and use imagination, language, faith, and attention to make a different position more familiar.
Allowing standards, care, boundaries, habits, and decisions to become congruent with the identity being practiced.
Consistency without perfection: returning when old reactions resurface instead of treating one difficult day as a final verdict.
